MSCIOur partnership with the UC Berkeley Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership continues growing, as in October we welcomed four students who will be working on their 2024 Capstone Project at MSCI. Working together with our Data Collection and Technology teams, the project of Ellie Ko, Run A, Yingze Hou and Demin Li will focus on expanding the automated extraction of physical asset attributes from satellite images. This information is used as an input to a number of MSCI products, and reliable automated processes allow us to cover a growing universe of assets, better serving our clients’ needs.
