I have been working at NORESCO full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Can be very flexible depending on your manager - if you want to be home when your kids finish school, you can be. Friendly office environment, many long time (15+ years) coworkers.
The work can be interesting and fun, and feels like you’re making a positive impact when things fall into place.
There is also a great tuition program if interested in a degree.

    Cons

Some managers in leadership positions are highly technical and intelligent but shouldn’t be managing people. Little opportunity for advancement and the path to growth opportunities is unclear. It’s difficult to achieve a promotion.
If you’re not interested in a degree but want training to grow skills That can be immediately applied, is difficult to get approved.

    Advice to Management

Both managers and non managers need internal training on communication and team motivation.
