It's the age-old alchemist's dream, but RTICA actually does transform the worthless into a fortune. The company recycles polyester materials (PET) into building insulation called RTICA. The company has also developed another PET-based material called Rbuds which has thermal and acoustical insulation capabilities. Think of it as an environmentally-friendly alternative to fiberglass. The company, which is transitioning from a development-stage company to a commercial enterprise, manufactures and markets its insulation products through subsidiary Rtica, Inc.
