Description Surface Transforms is a highly innovative company, with its own patented materials technology and a team of PhD-qualified scientists and degree-qualified engineers who are continually developing new processes for the production of carbon-ceramic materials and new products for various applications. ST is a manufacturer of next-generation carbon-ceramic brake discs for automotive and aircraft applications and has been certified to IS9001-2000 since 2008 and was certified to TS16949 automotive quality accreditation and AS9100C aerospace quality accreditation in 2015.

OUR HERITAGE
1992: Surface Transforms was founded to exploit the potential of new composite manufacturing material technologies developed by ICI plc.
1999: Surface Transforms incorporated.
2000: Surface Transforms was introduced to OFEX
2002: Surface Transforms was listed on AIM.
2004: Surface Transforms restructured to focus on commercialisation of its leading edge proprietary technology in Carbon Ceramic Materials (CCM).
2006: Surface Transforms launched SystemST automotive carbon ceramic brake discs.
2007: Surface Transforms moved to a new facility of 12,000 sq.ft.at Unit 4, Olympic Park in Ellesmere Port, housing ST's first integrated disc manufacturing plant.
2008: Surface Transforms undertook further capital expansion by investing to introduce it's own Chemical Vapour Infiltration plant CVIST for the manufacture of Carbon-Carbon(C-C) discs. ST was accredited with ISO9001-2000.
2013: Surface Transforms purchased a new larger capacity CVI plant and commenced direct supply of after-market product.
2014: Surface Transforms opened it's first European sales office in Moers near Dusseldorf, Germany
2015: Achieved TS16949 automotive quality accreditation and AS9100C aerospace quality accreditation.
