    I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TransLink (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2022


    Part 1: Applied via the Translink website and sent in my resume. About a week later, they called me and asked to do a pre-screening phone interview.

    Part 2: During pre-screening, they ask if you are legally allowed to work in Canada, qualifications, first aid training, and give three scenario-based questions (ex. You find a lost child. What do you do?).

    Part 3: If you pass the pre-screening, they ask to do a more detailed and thorough interview with you via phone (at the time of this writing, this was during Covid-19 in 2022). They ask three more scenario-based questions and get to know you as well.

    Part 4: If you pass the interview, you are asked to do a medical assessment. You have to book an appointment at a medical centre near Stadium-Chinatown and they will ask for your medical history, visual/audial checkup, etc. You are also required to do a fitness test that most people should be able to complete (medium difficulty).

    Part 5: They email you and you get a job offer!

    In no particular order here are some questions they asked me: 1. You walk into the Skytrain and you see an individual performing first aid on an unconscious person. What do you do? 2. You come across a lost child and another adult calming that they are their parent. What do you do? 3. Someone in the train is yelling racial slurs to another passenger. What do you do? 4. Someone complains to you that another passenger is not wearing their mask properly (assuming that there is still a mask mandate). What do you do?
