At HC, we are passionate about helping our people to achieve their potential. When our people achieve their best, so do we. This will lead us to the ultimate customer satisfaction. We’ve been dedicated to creating and implementing IT Solutions and Services to primary care for over 25 years.
We provide a friendly and supportive environment for our employees which has lead to us having a great retention rate, 91%, which is above the average national rate of 80%. We also have a large number of long serving employees, over 50% of employees have worked for at least 5 years, with half of them having worked with us for more than 10 years.
At HC we care about our employee’s wellbeing and we have been awarded with a ‘Healthy Workplace Award’ provided by healthcare provider Simplyhealth. The Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees. Winners of the award provide employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep their workforce motivated and healthy.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility:
For many years, Healthcare Computing and our employees have been involved in fundraising activities, raising money for different charities and communities within the healthcare sector.
We are proud to be a Carbon Neutral Organisation by offsetting 7.75 tonnes of carbon dioxide each month, helping to combat climate change and sustain our environment for future generations. We are also committed to work with our suppliers and customers to improve sustainability performance throughout all of our activities. We recycle printer toners, IT waste and cardboard through our partner WasteCare and the Council Recycling Scheme. Alongside with reduce the impact from our company cars over the past 10 years by switching to hybrid cars.
