I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vortexa (London, England, England) in May 2021

    Interview

The internal recruiter approached me about a possible role, of which I was very interested in, and planned to apply for prior to the approach.

However, after my initial interview, me and members of the Vortexa team thought I may be better suited to the Product Specialist role.

The interview process was the most efficient I've been a part of, the company acted quickly and I had 4 interviews over a two week period.

The efficiency gave me an indication of the work ethic at the company, which is clearly very fast paced.

The interviews felt more like conversations, everyone I spoke with was very passionate and insightful and easy to speak with.

Prior to Vortexa, Arthur worked at S&P Global Platts as a Senior Pricing Specialist on the freight pricing desk. Fun fact: Arthur has sailed in all but 2 of the world’s seven oceans, only missing the Arctic and Southern (or Antarctic) oceans to complete the list. We wanted to find out what inspired Arthur to join Vortexa, what some of his biggest milestones have been to date and what day-to-day life really looks like for a Senior Freight Analyst...
