WatchKeeper's mission is to improve the way teams manage security events globally to enable a more resilient society.
WatchKeeper was founded in December 2018 by Hugh Farquhar and Daniel Whatmuff. The project was started off the back of Hugh’s fifteen years of corporate security experience, ten of which were working on global security and crisis management at Citibank. At Citibank, Hugh gained a deep understanding of the pains and inefficiencies involved with managing global crisis events.
Hugh quit his comfortable job and sold his beloved car to fund the development of WatchKeeper as a beta platform and met Daniel at that time. Daniel has a background in software development and cloud-based platforms within high security environments. Hugh and Dan teamed up to bring a new generation of risk management software to the market.
