Pros

Co-workers are good people.

Cons

All the past reviews were asked for by management. They are ingenuine. CEO is a nightmare. Doesn't know what he's doing. Micromanager. No culture. No room for growth. Personal views of people get in the way of business. Constant pointless meetings that are unproductive and time wasters.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value and consider feedback as an opportunity to grow and evaluate our current systems and procedures. I am disappointed to hear about your experiences while working at 360Connect. This is not the type of environment I wish to create or company culture that I wish to promote. I hope you will speak with me directly so I can better understand the feedback you raise above, doing so will allow me to make changes where needed and improve 360Connect overall. -Jeff Hoogendam, CEO

Pros

Some of the people that still work there are enjoyable, but they are weighed down by the politics, brown-nosing, and lack of proper processes and intelligent people. They try really hard to overcompensate with minimal perks to make up for the lack of everything else. So you do get some fun perks at times.

Cons

It’s a marketing company without a marketing team. As long as the current CEO, Jeff, is running the company, the company will continue to remain stale and operate as a one trick pony with no direction. They’ve been around 10 years and he won’t allow them to grow beyond the things that got the company on their feet originally. I recently left because the CEO laid off half the marketing team at the beginning of the year, and the remaining intelligent ones then quit. He said inappropriate things to multiple people on multiple occasions, because he is more concerned about looking good and being liked than he is making sure his company is running well. If he thinks you don't like him, he will fire you, lay you off, or micro-manage you to the point of you having no choice but to leave. He plays favorites and micro-manages everybody and it suffocates the people who are there to actually work. If he is removed from this role, there is potential and it may be a better place to work in the future.

Pros

You get to gain experience as an administrative assistant even if your title is not that, because they have you do other stuff than what your job title description is. Room for growth even if you don't have a college degree somehow you get trained there. Marketing company without a marketing team. However, the pay will not reflect that. Recently they were forced to higher the pay. There's a guy that always bring good food to the parties. Flexibility to actually have a life. They started a social, and culture club...so that was fun. They have rewards when revenue gets hit but they are heavily influenced by upper management and what they can't afford to do by themselves so we get to do what they want. Mysteriously no one seems to go to the reward events probably because everyone dislikes the energy the events carry and they prefer to stay home. They take you to lunch when you hit a year at the company. Advice make them spend and pick a good expensive place.

Cons

A huge pattern of people being laid off because they are difficult to work with. Nobody trust upper management but because everyone is afraid to speak up they say it's an isolated problem when you bring it up. It doesn't matter if you have been there for years unless you are with management you can be laid off. Very little paid time off. They tried to compensate with perks. If you are young my advice to you is work here if you are just looking for a job while you go to school because they are flexible. My advice if you are looking for a career, go to school get yourself a degree and get away from these types of companies. Stop asking employees to write positive reviews. I was one of the ones that was forced with bribes to say how great it is to work here but luckily I didn't.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate you mentioning the 360Connect Culture Club. Due to the hard work and participation of our employees the Culture Club has spawned two new committees within our organization: the social club which plans our company events and the service club which chooses quarterly company sponsored volunteer opportunities and highlights ongoing individual volunteer projects. For example, many employees volunteered with Operation Turkey on Thanksgiving Day to help feed the less fortunate and give back to our local community. We value and encourage differing opinions here at 360Connect and we will continue to look for ways to improve our processes to solicit constructive feedback from our employees. While we realize we are not perfect, we have put a lot of focus this year on improving our company culture. We will continue to create an environment and culture that has resulted in 360Connect being selected for the Austin American Statesman Top Workplaces for the last 5 years.
