Pros

People are nice enough. Almost all are unhappy.

Cons

You will be promised change, raises, promotion, and more... None is true. Been with the company for 3+yrs and they do give you more work but never more pay. Pretty constant turnover for this reason. They appear to value people who enjoy working 16hr days with no compensation and no chance of upward mobility because there is absolutely no position to move to and they refuse to pay people what they are worth. The jist of it is; they will make promises they never intend to keep, work you to the bone and then feign support when you turn in your resignation.

Pros

people are awesome! company is trying to improve culture by building a gym, providing yoga classes, new coffee machine, etc. product is innovative and downright cool. marketing department is cool, production is cool.

Cons

Individual departments do not work together. you are literally fighting the factory to get your jobs made and on time. Sometimes there would be 6+ week delays and the factory was unwilling or unable to move up jobs even if it was a 3form fault. For example, you have a project and the factory polishing the edges messed up and burned it. So, you would have to remake the plastic, but the plastic factory wouldn't push through any orders because overtime hours would mess up their profit margins. You, as the direct contact with the customer, would have to deliver the bad news and literally get yelled at, berated, delaying huge projects and there is nothing you can do. project managers and middle management are not empowered to make decisions so everything has to be approved by the coo and cfo, who operate a good ole boys club with their favorites. There is no incentive to do the right thing for the customer.
