Pros
I have been with 9iChat for 18 months now. It is a young company that has definitely had its fair share of growing pains, but I've seen the company and management adapt, grow, and mature. I appreciate this as a tutor because I know that they are striving to not only serve their customers well, but also to serve their tutors well. -$15 per 50 minute class, which is really good pay. I'm a full-time student, and you cannot find any wages that high on campus -overall, really great students who love to learn -little preparation time, as once you learn the format, you will know how to teach a quality lesson using the materials 9iChat provides -freedom to set your own hours, and if you are good and receive wonderful reviews, your hours will fill up quickly -work from home, which makes the pay even better (no commute)
Cons
Management has hinted at updating the website in the past, and I hope they do it soon. The website and the entire process for tutoring, recording, sending the recordings, and tracking your hours works fine for now, but it would be great if it all became a seamless experience. I imagine that as the company grows more, this will be their primary concern.
