Pros
Great manager, once you showed him you could handle the details. You could land and expand or get net new business and bring negotiations to a close. Work / life balance was valued from the CEO down.
Cons
Run for 25 plus years by a former l'enfant terrible, the business was bought by Mitek, a competitor to them in a segment of the banking industry. If Mitek doesn't take the proprietary IP and gut the place then clever employees will have a chance to succeed with more latitude.
