Pros

- Very close knit atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone on a first name basis. - CEO is open to discussions and ideas. A great person to talk with and I must admit good business sense. He has the right idea and direction but the execution needs to be further worked upon. - Company events help break the monotony and often quite fun. Do this more often!

Cons

- Experienced poor work-life balance, often having to stay after work hours even at client side to mop up the shoddy codes of developers. - Made to do tasks not part of the original job scope. - Pay is not very competitive - CEO sometimes loses his cool and shouts. It is very unnerving.

Pros

Whatever nice things you see on their Website and Social Media; and those happy faces from their Company events are just pure PR. People within the company are complaining of how toxic it is to be in their 'family' business.

Cons

The fact that they have MOM cases vs their previous staff, shows how bad this Company is. Even how good you are and how much you deliver, the Boss will yell and let you cry until you get demoralized. I had a traumatic year in this company, suggesting everyone to stay away.

Pros

The GM is okay to work with. She is rather patient and have a higher emotional intelligence than the CEO.

Cons

I believe they confused the role business development assistant as business owner. I came from a different business background and was told there will be a team to help me along. However, there was none. I did everything alone from head to toe, from curriculum planner to designer to holiday programme. I did not even have time to settle in. Within 4 days i've to come out with a holiday programme when i'm still getting to know the industry. Before i left, i was told to deliver marketing visuals and marketing proposal on the same day by the GM. But at 1030 am, the boss shoot me an email and exact words wrote:" the formatting of the documents are terrible, i waste my time reading a pdf file that is 50% blank." and the " i do not see any competitor analysis. It 's a mere compilation of competitor information which is off the website which i could do in 30 min.'' and he end off with asking me to deliver by 12pm. When i was rushing visuals for the GM to take a look at the email. Bear in mind, i was just there for 4 days in a new domain space. I could have deliver a detailed competitor analysis in 1 week with detailed market research PROVIDED i do not have to handle everything from head to toe myself.
