Pros

- Students are usually pleasant and good to teach. - Good focus on 'center culture' and attempting to build strong relationships within teams - Easy to get a job with limited experience and good opportunity for promotions.

Cons

- Board of Directors make poor decisions for the company and only seem to care about expanding the business, even at the cost of morale. - Treatment of staff recently has been very poor and unprofessional - Recent increase in contracted hours doesn't allow for much free time at the weekend - Base pay rate should be higher - Huge teacher shortage makes it difficult to get time off and often have to work OT - Some managers at centers are not experienced/qualified well enough for their role

Thank you for your feedback. We have had reported feedback from centres that the relationships between the Vietnamese side of the business and the English teaching side has been fantastic, and we're very happy to see this harmony. Any changes made to the curriculum are made on the feedback of parents, students, and teachers alike and are part of the ongoing progress made within any business to add more value for all, with workshops and full training on the changes. In terms of time off, we recommend teachers utilise the national breaks and holidays for longer trips, but with a bit of careful advanced planning with your manager, it is very easy to take your paid time off and obtain the necessary cover. There is also currently the option to take a contract pause of up to 3 months which many teachers utilise if they need to see their family, for example.
