ARCSys is a quickly growing accounting software company based in the Hampton Roads area. We are quickly becoming known as an industry leader in the accounting/financial services realm that we have focused on. As an accountant with systems implementation experience, I was drawn to the company after researching the product and industry and am proud to be a part of such an amazing team. If you are an accountant looking for a position that will give you industry experience in the financial services realm, this is definitely a great place to start. We have a very comfortable company culture that quickly makes you feel as if you've joined a family instead of a cold corporate atmosphere. This is one of the most important things I looked for in a position. Lots of companies will say they have a great atmosphere, but we truly do. I would definitely say that you should be willing to work hard (and smart), but also that a great work life balance is obtainable with ARCSys. After many years of working 10-15 hour days during close week for a major publicly traded company, I have been pleasantly surprised that I am able to enjoy my work, live my life and still feel like I am accomplishing my goals in a reasonable work week. Keep the faith, there are great opportunities out there!
