    Pros

Flexible working is encouraged, great work/ life balance, understanding managers, good benefits

    Cons

Can be slow moving with progress limited by needless bureaucracy and control from AXA group in Paris.

    Advice to Management

Restructure, centralise under one set of management. IT should be brought in house and refocused on the businesses needs, not making profit for AGS. Believe and live your AXA Values especially ONE AXA - which is not followed at all the business lines are very silo'd.

    Pros

Great people good development opportunities. Well known global brand

    Cons

No business direction just words with no actions against them. Leadership terrible and blame those working for them for lack of progress. Institutionalised management no hope of achieving the innovation and transformation this company needs. Terrible technology. In a spiral of decline.

I worked at AXA UK full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Bonus every year (minus the extra bribery bonus they gave to keep us with the fret to take it back if we left) free teas and coffees, fun social life with people

    Cons

Favourtism amongst team leaders who don't do anything but go into meetings all day. Over worked seniors, constant drama and two faced people, team changes like every few months, no correct structure, personnel development, crap training and coaching and overall most immature unprofessional company to work for. Oh and crap pay.

    Advice to Management

Stop making team changes every month, favouring people, overworking seniors and make team leaders more technical so they can actually do what they are paid to do.

I worked at AXA UK full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Colleagues (Some not all)
    Social Life

    Cons

Management at the Tunbridge Wells offices need looking at as they have one rule for them and one rule for another. When raising a grievance they try and play down the bullying.

    Advice to Management

    Stop micromanaging employees

I have been working at AXA UK full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Colleagues are friendly, great staff benefits as in low cost health insurance, life insurance, and discounts, long holiday allowance

    Cons

Too manager heavy, treat staff like children,

    Advice to Management

You need to treat the people at the bottom...those who are customer facing with more respect - cut out some of the managers. In the customer service departments the teams each have managers, the managers have a manager, their manager has a manager and their manager is managed by the director. These managers get paid a lot more than the customer facing staff and the staff are over worked, less managering staff and more customer facing staff is required.
