      Not Just a Job but a Career

      Pros

      Culture and values are visibly displayed and not lip service. Support from management and a coach within your practice area to grow both personally and professionally. Upward and lateral mobility opportunities to grow or change career in a way that best suites your skills and desires, Career development is prioritized through coaching program and AXIA library carefully procured and developed resources. Stewardship is not only led from the front by management but encouraged across the company with the organization matching charitable giving and helping to support initiatives that are important to the AXIA team members.

      Cons

      PTO and Time Off could be a little better but as it stands, there is a decent policy in place today.

      Great People & Authentic Culture

      Pros

      AXIA Consulting is by far the best company that I have ever worked for! I love the work that I perform, but more importantly, I enjoy the people with whom I work. If I had to describe our AXIA culture in one word, I would say that it is authentic. There are no hidden agendas, no backstabbing, just a bunch of passionate and high-performing consultants delivering great results for our clients.

      Cons

      It is difficult for me to think about a con...the only thing that comes to mind is that because we perform client work, we must work according to the client's demands, which in some cases means that you may have to travel to a client site. However, following the recent pandemic, clients have had to learn how to work remotely and most are more open to remote work, so I have seen the need for travel to the client site decline dramatically.

      Exception Community, Incredible Opportunity

      Pros

      I work on a small team at this company. At other companies I have found that the work we do is valued, or the output exceeds what is feasible. Here at AXIA, I feel like I can truly balance my the work I do with my team with the expectations from stakeholders and my superiors. In fact, leadership is actively involved in what we do to make sure we are getting the support and resources we need to fulfill the goals we have. Leadership recognizes the value of our work from big projects to small projects. Multiple times I have received messages with commending my work or the work of my team from the C-Suite. It is a very rare thing to feel that your work is making a difference and to receive recognition for that on an individual level as well as throughout an organization. This energy carries into career growth opportunities, benefits, and more.

      Cons

      I honestly can't think of cons. Working with my team is great and my director is super willing to support.
