My time at Ability360/home care was rewarding in terms of the services provided to clients and the mission itself.
However, I observed concerns with leadership and workplace culture. Many leadership roles were held by long-tenured individuals with limited outside industry experience or relevant credentials, which led to gaps in direction and accountability.
While the organization promotes kindness and inclusion, the internal culture often did not reflect those values. Ongoing interpersonal conflict and workplace drama impacted morale, service delivery, and contributed to high turnover.
I can only speak for home care.
Ability360 does meaningful work, but stronger leadership and a healthier culture would improve both employee experience and overall effectiveness.
