Great opportunities

Pros

Great opportunities to learn by doing hands on work. Consistent effort to identify and acknowledge talent from within, often promoting internally (even across disciplines). Great opportunities to cross train and broaden expertise in multiple areas rather than becoming an expert in just one. As long as you lean in, there is always a project or initiative you can learn about or participate in. Great benefits. Very easy to communicate across the network and between programs (structure supports this). Encouragement and scholarship to go back to school. Plethora of CEU opportunities and access to external trainings (platforms and membership). Big on celebrating employees on every level, capturing the community/team that we are.

Cons

Hard to truly say because of constant work to acknowledge issues and work on them over time. The elusive work life balance could be better, but this is an area that can be improved in every company/organization.

Pros

Will test you like SEAL training tests you... If you can hang on for a year or so you'll be able to deal w/ any work setting...

Cons

Nepotism is alive and well here, ethics and morals have long been dead... Executive staff are a bunch of greedy, unethical, soul less monsters.

A Never Ending Maze of Frustration and Complacence

Pros

Due to the poorly "managed" vetting system this Company can be a great place to work a position to gain experience that you can spring board to a better place.

Cons

Probably 50% of the staff are under qualified for their jobs and this creates abundant inefficiency and an absurd turn over rate. Anyone who does excel at their job is rewarded by being overburdened until they quit. The level of nepotism in the hiring process has reached pandemic levels. Many employees are hired, show up to work, sit there at an empty desk because nobody has prepared for the on boarding process( a term you'll never here uttered in Acacia), and when they can't magically produce results out of nothing they are promptly terminated 2-3 weeks later. On top of that processes and protocols( more foreign terms) can basically amount to who screams the loudest which creates a hellish work environment for the lions share of employees. Morale is the lowest I've seen at any place I've worked and will stay that way until management can open a dictionary and look up the word management.
