Favoritism and Petty Behavior Run Rampant

Pros

Decent vacation time offered, quiet work environment. For the most part, the office is filled with friendly people that are easy to get along with. Successful product that seems to be taking over the market.

Cons

Company shows STRONG favoritism for a certain religion. They're offered jobs over more qualified candidates, and given promotions over more qualified employees. They come and go basically as they please, often coming in to the office late, and leaving early. And on Fridays? Forget it. They're all gone by 2pm while the rest of the employees are stuck working until regular hours. They fire non-religious employees at random with no warning (i.e. reviews/one-on-ones pointing out areas that need improvement), for seemingly little to no reason (though it seems like, behind the seems, reasons are petty at best). They also do so without thinking of the ramifications, often leaving entire departments struggling with work overloads until they can find replacements (which can take months, due to the extremely lengthy interview process).

AMAZING product, unsustainable workload

Pros

Hands down the best online differentiated literacy solution on the market. Incredible opportunity to make a difference for students and teachers.

Cons

No work-life balance. Unrealistic workload for implementation team. Blackout period from August - December means NO days off, even for major life events. Better hope nobody in your family plans a wedding, gets sick, or goes off to college in the Fall, because you can't be there! Ridiculous redundancy in documentation and record keeping. Caseload is far too heavy for the amount of travel, paperwork, and reporting required of implementation team.

Pros

Good product, niche in the market, company is heavily invested in product development, generous time off as company recognizes all Jewish holidays

Cons

Toxic environment. Seriously the most frustrating, unhealthy, stressful experience of my career. If you are thinking about working here, RUN!
