      Great place to work, never a dull moment

      Pros

      one of the most interesting independent software companies (hybrid OS model, great technology, blue chip customer base). small enough you can make an impact at the company, big enough you're relevant in the market.

      Cons

      Tough industry at the moment, the company hasn't grown enough the last few years. Conversion of OS users to commercial version slower than needed

      The unemployment checks once they let all employees go after their recent acquisition

      Cons

      Management is abusive (have seen a few employees cry), Management is sexist (women should not bother applying here), Management is racist (will favor opinions of some races over others), inter-company communications are a mess (massive disconnect between departments), Management across the company is hesitant to change their outdated policies, the company culture is blame first and correct second.
