One of the most obvious signs of a toxic work environment involves ineffective leadership and this place has a management team with droves of toxic traits - so if you like managers that are racist, sexist, misogynistic, harassing, belittling, lie to your face, spread nasty rumours, openly gossip about other members of staff in front of you - then look no further!
The morale is so low that you get gas lit, in to thinking that its you and your own lack of effort that is the problem - when in reality its this over whelming toxic smog that's immitted from the managers.
Staff are constantly off sick, through stress or sheer lack of mental strength to actually get through a day there. In my short time there - 3 people walked out on their lunch breaks and didnt come back and 2 people were signed off with stress.
The people that have been there for 10,15,20 years have had a good run, they're the only members of permanent staff there - about 60% of staff is agency with no look in to being made permanent members. You do not and will not have the same benefits as the perm team adn you are left on probation so youre easily let go off.
Most people have been there about 12 weeks. You will instantly get replaced if you leave, do not worry about that.
Nothing you do will ever be good enough, they constantly want more and more out of you and high standard that they want can not be achieved at the volume of product that they want made - its impossible that's what machines are for. But they want a human touch??? cant be done
This is not to mention the lack of any windows in this warehouse - the indoor temperature often exceeds 25 degrees and there is no fans or air conditioning and an out of date system that isnt going to be updated anyyyyyyyy time soon!
if you've read this far then seriously please avoid this place - its not worth it.
