Pros

There were a lot of opportunities to take responsibility, contribute ideas, and feel like a real part of the team. This is definitely not an internship where you'll be making copies and working solely as administrative support. You'll do meaningful work! The management is there to be a resource and support you whenever you need but you'll have to really take charge and responsibility for your tasks.

Cons

Not really a con, but it's a startup and thus a fast-paced environment. But need more Mature Management.

Pros

Good infrastructure. But I guess that's all they pulled off from their 400cr funding from Reliance. That's all the pros I've got for Addverb.

Cons

Where to start? Let's see- 1. Makes you work till 2-3am for days 2. Makes you feel pathetic if you take work from home when most of the work is done solely through the system, emails and online meetings. The general manager of the team would still inflict to work from the office even if it barely makes any difference. 3. MICRO MANAGEMENT; once this starts, you leave 4. Gaslights you into thinking that you're not fit for the role when initially you're absolutely passionate for the job 5. The salary discrimination for freshers from IITs/NITs/IIITs and private institutes. And I know they're supposed to get higher given their initial sacrifice during the prep years. But 10 times the difference? What's even more jaw-dropping is freshers from those institutes earn double of what a senior experienced employee receives. Why such discrimination? It's a tactic to get more popular amongst institutes than hiring experienced people who would bring value and growth. Addverb is like Karan Johar's "Student of the Year". Newbies with expensive clothing and gadgets roaming here and there. 6. Termination when you don't slave for them 24/7 7. HRs nasty behaviour; these are the epi canter of politics. 8. Literally no work-life balance. I read several reviews regarding this before joining, but here I am, experiencing this first-hand. 9. Favoritism, dirty office politics, excluding you out of important project-related queries.
