their dependence on a select few individuals to set the tone of the company is their true downfall. when upper management condones ageism and relentless bullying because it comes from upper management you know something is wrong. it is hands down the worst example of zero human resource guidance or support. HR is bullied to the point of allowing people to be bullied out the door. however, if you are one of the golden children, you can bully all you want. the company also pretends to be a technology company when they have no real testing protocol, i never saw a single requirements document, they over promise to clients and cannot deliver on product, they do back room work arounds and refuse to be transparent to clients when products and processes do not work correctly. hands down worst communication chain I have ever seen, no one has a phone, no one wants to give out their phone number, no one is ever in the office, you can never find anyone to SPEAK to them, it's all via messaging or e-mail ( hence nothing ever gets communicated), and the first 10 minutes of any meeting is used up trying to get their weird technology to work ( you can have a pc or a mac, but nothing ever works). there is zero training and the pay is pretty mediocre too.

This is a small wellness company that wants to be Apple, Beats, or Amazon. The priorities are broken, focused on commodity capitalism that is poison to the companies actual product which is Human Performance/Wellness. Money is squandered on large event participation, fancy parties, and then teams are told there are hiring freezes to even back-fill positions. It's always been a join the cult on or get shamed situation at ADURO, but recent massive leadership and employee turn over points to the house being actually on fire. Ownership is way too involved in certain aspects of the company therefore has too much personal stake and emotions involved to make good decisions. One owner in particular has never held a real job outside a company they own, touches every part of the business, is volatile, and SOMEHOW presides over HR. The bullying from different management levels means no real HR can exist. Constantly shifting buzzword culture mandates are exhausting after a year. Keeping up with what new branded self motivation/team tactic you're supposed to be "all in" on is absolutely draining. The salary is under market, the health insurance isn't great, as much as they'd like to claim the benefits package fully makes up for that. There's absolutely zero training, and they tend to hire people internally for positions they're unqualified for. This can be a huge bonus if you're looking to build your resume but a nightmare if you're trying to work with a product manager who was a coach twelve months ago.
