Pros

It is a job, but do not expect to be treated with professionalism and do expect to be harassed, treated unfairly and not know what you are supposed to do related to your job

Cons

Insurance and benefits are the lowest I have ever seen. Communication about what you will receive is not clear until after you are hired when it is too late. The people are all overworked, crabby and underperforming. Leadership is unavailable and haughty

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and I am sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience. One of our company core values is “People First” and we strive to make sure our employees feel valued and are treated with professionalism and respect. We have outlets available to all employees in which they can voice their concerns in the event they don’t feel we are living up to our values. We take those concerns very seriously and ensure we investigate and follow up with every concern that’s brought to out attention. Regarding communication and benefits, we have made enhancements to our new employee onboarding experience and have included additional touch points that go beyond our formal new hire orientation. We strive everyday to make sure our employees have a healthy work-life balance. We also provide them with the tools and flexibility that allows them to make the best use of their skills and talent so that hopefully they’re happy and are not feeling overworked. In addition, our leadership and management team take the time to listen to our employees, value their ideas and work to create a positive work environment. Again, thank you for the feedback.

Pros

Thought leadership in the space, and well connected to other thought leaders across industry - own cloud CPQ and Billing. Tremendous opportunity for those that want to work with progressive clients implementing digital commerce solutions. Smart, hardworking, and accomplished professionals that make up a professional family. Still small enough that employees at all levels can see the daily impacts of their contributions.

Cons

Fractured culture across offices. Majority of company functions are run out of Montana.

Pros

So many opportunities to learn cloud technologies, and learn from experts in quote to cash. Transparent leadership. Better WLB than most.

Cons

Acquisition by Cognizant resulted in "big company" red tape and less autonomy with systems and tools.

Pros

Good place to learn QTC, especially if you're new to consulting. Overall it's a good consulting company to start your career at. The employees are all friendly, and the culture is collaborative.

Cons

Not the right fit for experienced hires. Most leadership positions are based out of middle of no where Missoula, Montana. Experienced hires are treated like workhorses and their experience is not properly utilized. Leadership at ATG is pretty inexperienced, and most of the consultants at ATG have 1-2 years of experience. This is no where near the years of experience that are marketed by ATG. So, if you're an experienced hire there is not much room for career growth - since technical growth can be attained at any consulting firm. Be ready to teach your team members and hold their hands.

Pros

ATG is a good place to launch your career in tech if you can’t break into the field. There are some really nice people that work here.

Cons

There are quite a few bad things about working at this company. Leadership was very disconnected from the employees and played favorites. If you were the favorite of one of the leaders in particular you could move up quickly even if you weren’t a good fit for a role. There were no pay bands in place here so some people were grossly underpaid for their roles. I also saw many people ask for raises that were declined and they were given a guilt trip about how they are paid well and how they should be grateful and patient. All the while there are no clear guidelines to how to increase your pay. The culture is toxic here. Although it was a good place to work at one point, the company is not scaling well. Employees who are more outgoing are treated better and given more opportunities. This creates an environment where employees feel forced to participate to make sure they show face. The company is losing quality employees. Many of the employees are fresh to the space. It is great that they are giving individuals opportunities to move into the tech field, but the ratio of experienced to new workers is an issue. Many long term employees leave because they are tired of this company and can command a much better salary elsewhere.
