Its not unheard of to work 10 + 11.5 hour days in a row so you can make up for the work of the people playing FMLA games. Favoritism, discrimination, cherry picking, no advancement unless you are buddies with management at every level. Folks we got it all, 60 +hour weeks Workplace rules change depending on your dept. what gets ignored in one dept will get you wrote up in another. Culture that puts contractors/suppliers first over employees Due to massive turnover we dropped the high school diploma requirement, and also started to look the other way on felons. Ever want to work with a pedophile? How about a murderer? Several drug addicts? Well we got the job for you. Come for the mediocre pay and soul crushing overtime, and stay for the bs perks like a donut for 120 days of safety. Bottom line is DONT DO IT, stay at home and beat your face into a brick wall you'll be happier

Boring. No penalty on making mistakes - both big and small. No career opportunities because people in management are not going anywhere. High turnover in staff level and young managers.
