Pros

You get to work in the drone industry... sort of

Cons

CTO is clueless as to what it is he’s actually supposed to do. CEO is blind to the cost overruns that the CTO causes... Blind leading the blind. Also, some of these positive responses seem very well timed with the last negative... perhaps a bit of corporate inflating their rating...

Pros

Unlimited PTO and the colleagues I worked with aside from the founders were some of the smartest people I have met.

Cons

absolutely no diversity in staff, a lot of back and forth between the founders and never seemed to be on the same page, disorganization, was paid late on more than one occasion and was told "didn't realize employees lived paycheck to paycheck". Little to no direction given and a lot of blame placing. little to no accountability ever taken by leadership but rather put on the employees. poor performance = poor leadership in this case. don't expect your health insurance to always work.

Great ideas aren't overcome by bad management

Pros

During my time I had decent work-life balance and worked with some good people on what should be exciting technology. Pay was good though benefits were lacking compared to the market offering.

Cons

Cutting to the chase, bad leadership. The company laid off about a third of its staff due to bad financials and are pivoting completely to new technology. This isn't the first pivot and it's indicative of good ideas poorly implemented. Until the company proves they can have long term financial stability there's no way I could recommend taking a position here.
