A place for you if you are low skilled, spineless with no integrity and looking for a place to retire.

Cons

Lack of leadership and poor management creating an environment of failure. A system designed to support a "No accountability for managers " with a unspoken rule of "Not Making Waves". This results in lack of written policies, lack of transparency, misleading at all levels and no strategic vision. The impact is technology and process methodology 15 years behind the world with an unsecured information environment jeopardizing constituents data.

A broken system with great co-workers

Pros

Lots of loyal hardworking co-workers that are all doing the same as you working within a system that is disjointed and falling apart at times. It is the love of the job, the clients and co-workers that keeps everyone there.

Cons

The system keeping bosses in positions when the county has been reprimanded and told they are to remove them. The very reasons those in the private sector point out the failings o fa so called typical government employee: slow, incomplete work, poor customer service and so on.
