Pros

Free lunch Wednesdays Occasional company events Optional travel with expense allowance

Cons

Allbridge is the result of a botched merger between Bulk TV & Internet (which also contained ABP Digital), DCI, and Ethostream. There is little to no communication between the 3 companies or any attempt to standardize polices or even act as a unified entity when working directly onsite with clients. DCI employees act like elitist snobs. Ethostream's competent employees seem to be getting the shaft in this merger. The others, its amazing haven't become a victim to natural selection. While being paid the same as everyone else on my team I had an extra set of responsibilities with Mitel PBX systems in addition to the AP/Switch systems. This (in an unofficial way) had me answering to two different chains of command that would often not communicate and would both assign work with clearly conflicting due dates. The entire time I was there I never used a single day of PTO as I knew any time I took off the jobs I had would not get touched and would fail to make their ship date. This is not because I was the only one that could do this jobs but yet a result of the lack of team work and the way jobs were assigned gave people a since of "not my job, not my problem." For once in my life, I honestly can't say much bad about upper management. My direct leadership was a different story. No adequate training documentation was ever provided. In any documentation we did receive, command syntax and instructions were mashed together making it feel more like a cypher than a guide. Procedures and polices were never committed to writing so they were be subject change based on who needed to cover their butt that day. Chain of command became a constant issue as my team lead was unwilling to act in the face of any problem or make a decision and take responsibility for said decision. I would often get thrown under the bus for following direct orders. I would go around him just to to get systems sent out on time. The team lead's number one priority would be the Nintendo Switch tournament that started as a fun lunch time distraction from the day, but quickly turned into an obsession of his that often took priority of there the jobs themself. He has a 55inch TV in his office that is mainly used for this purpose. He would justify his day by inserting himself (in email) in to the projects he assigned his team members then playing middleman to the project managers so he could pretend to have involvement and point fingers at his team members when he needed to cover for his inaction. When I finally brought his to the attention of the next in command manager it was made clear that they don't care what he does and I would have to "get in line." I walked, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

Pros

They know how to pick good people, but don't utilize them to their fullest potential. Instead, they micromanaged them which is not so beneficial for them.

Cons

Every move you make will be watched. They had cameras which also have microphones so everything bad you say about the management will come back to you. They're the most insecure, immature, childish management that I have ever encountered. Do not work there if you don't want to be watched and micromanaged daily.

Pros

Most of the people are really nice, shame we met in such a poorly managed organization.

Cons

A very chaotic, toxic place and very much an aggressive finger-pointing place. Managers are bad and toxic people. Pretty much the entirety of the job was entering and fixing everything manually in old systems. Forget about having weekends off. There's a poor work/life balance driven by insufficient training, support, or resources. Most of our team quit because of unrealistic goals, being overworked, underpaid, and management. I could go on all day. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.
