Pros

Family owned and operated. Pretty place to work. Always let you take your time off. Amazing Spa Director. Small team feels like family.

Cons

Upward mobility from Manager on Duty is difficult considering senior management has been around forever.

"company values"

Pros

The hotel and property are beautiful, close to nature, and peaceful. Guests are easygoing and pleasant. Amenities at the spa and restaurant are top-notch.

Cons

The idealistic "company values" are used as a set of standards for employees, but not Management. Asking Human Resources to intervene puts a target on your back. Employee turnover is high.

Pros

Very great co-workers and the pay is amazing. If you really advocate for yourself, there is a lot of space to move up. Good benefits. Uniforms are mainly provided. Pretty place to work and amazing food you can try.

Cons

Management is not the best which makes it really difficult. Also when short staffed it is hard on the ones working.

Pros

Wonderful people to work with. There’s clear communication and management takes action quickly when necessary. The spa team gets along so well that it feels like family. Always smiling and laughing when I chat with teammates.

Cons

Sometimes there is a lack of recognition from other departments on property. Spa can feel like an afterthought or not as important.

Pros

Good pay and nice facilites

Cons

Terrible management, they are stuck up and act nice to your face but they don't care about you. If you are sick, seriously sick they will ask you to come in anyway and it feels like your job is at stake. You can't massage people when you're sick. That's not safe for the client or LMT. Since it's an upscale place they hate having to tell customers that their LMT is sick and they have to reschedule because it's supposedly a "five star" inn. They are heavy on 5 star service bs.
