      Pros

      Dedicated and talented employees, many who have been here for decades. Great customers and projects to work on. Opportunities to work with professional broadcast and network technology solutions and learn marketable skills. The company is growing and successful. There is a sense that we have turned a corner from more challenging times.

      Cons

      Alpha has had some struggles through COVID and with supply chain issues, but we're adding new talent and investing in our people.

      Pros

      1) Management is organized and open to communication and critiques. 2) A small company that feels more like a family 3) Management is constantly saying how much they value and appreciate you 4) Opportunity to move up based on your work ethic! 5) Good work/ life balance Overall the company really cares about its employees and is constantly working to make things even more efficient. My manager and the owner are always open to listening to what employees have to say and if you go to them with an issue they will gladly and quickly resolve it. On top of that, this is an incredibly fun company to work for. Alpha Video is constantly hosting events and games for employees to help keep morale up. I couldn't ask for a better company or for better people to work with!

      Cons

      Other than the fact that Minnesota is cold and it can be hard to get to work in the winter, I have no complaints.

      Excellent upward mobility and fun place to work

      Pros

      Upward mobility. They basically let me do whatever I asked for. I moved up over the years eventually becoming an engineer It was a fun place to work. Management made an effort to reach out to employees to let them know they're appreciated.

      Cons

      Some people made me feel like I should work 50-60 hours per week on salary. I simply told them I would do that occasionally but not on a routine basis. They accepted that. Travel was sometimes requested last second and you worked through the weekend. I believe it's better now. They give you decent notice and bring you back for the weekend.
