Pros

I know the 'corporate world' can be toxic but working here has been an eye-opening experience, though not in the positive way one would hope for in a professional setting. Unfortunately, the workplace environment here has been marred by a pervasive undercurrent of racism, sexism & unconscious classism creating a deeply unsettling atmosphere for minorities background employees. I know in every job you are 'replaceable' but here they really don't care about SDRs even if they say so, what I mean by that false promises of promotion when you join, they would just add another obstacle or introduce another title before becoming a AE, you can see the plan it is to continually hire SDRs just to get as much meetings and revenue opportunity up before IPO, rinse them out/feed them with false promises of promotion (which don't all exist because there are way too many SDRs to promote) they know a big chunk of SDRs would leave so they would continually hire a new bunch; a cycle; round and round. They have unrealistic targets, but even if you hit those targets, you want to get promoted or acknowledged? Well if you're a minority then you got to kiss egos, this is where racism/classism does play a part, if your not milky white Caucasian or a rugby/grammar school educated snob you will soon find out what favourism means in the workplace. Also, the lack of equal representation in leadership positions esp in London (a cosmopolitan city) further underscores the systemic issues at play, leaving employees of diverse backgrounds feeling marginalized and undervalued. One of the most disheartening aspects of my time at AS and main reason why I left is seeing the dismissal of couple of my colleagues which was not based on numbers as they where doing better then a lot of people but race and gender played a part!! Senior Management within BD and this whole company make touted efforts to promote good mental health and diversity, which are mere window dressing, tokenistic gestures, they fall short of addressing the deep-seated issues that persist within the organization, because at the end of the day she and the company really don't give a toss. Oh after this review they would most likely go around intimating asking current SDRs who wrote this and if everyone can write a positive review, what a joke!! but to conclude prospective employees should approach this organization with caution, mindful of the challenges they may face in navigating a workplace that falls short of its professed values.

Cons

You really need to sit and actually think about what kind of culture you've build and why is it toxic, self reflection is needed!!

Pros

The only positive is that the salary is above market standards. But not worth the mental toll.

Cons

Extremely toxic work culture where employees often feel suffocated.Team leaders lack proper management skills and have even encouraged dishonesty with customers regarding the product. There’s a massive hiring drive happening with no clear strategy, leading to confusion and chaos.Favoritism is rampant — top accounts are handed to the manager’s preferred people, regardless of performance. Many of the positive reviews here seem questionable and do not reflect the actual experience.Managers responsible for leading Account Executives often don’t have the experience or maturity required for the role. Many colleagues have been let go without just cause, ruining careers and livelihoods. Some left stable jobs after going through 6–7 interview rounds, only to be let down by poor leadership and broken promises. Ethics are severely lacking, and leadership seems indifferent to the long-term damage caused to employees and their families. Avoid if you value your career.

Pros

lots of young people which means you get to build longterm friendships - however this is also a con because lots of young people means senior management will treat and speak to you in ways that they wouldn't if you were older

Cons

you will be undermined, ignored for promotions, you will outwork everyone and you work won't be acknowledged, you will do better numbers than everyone but still won't be praised like the others. they are keen to keep the leaders in the business white so don't bother applying here if you aren't that. all your hard work will indeed be in vain. leaving was the best thing i did for myself

Thank you for sharing your experience during your time with us. We take your feedback seriously and we are sorry to hear about your experience. As a company, we are fully committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace and all the policies we build are to support that goal. The concerns you raise about biases and discrimination are deeply troubling. We want to assure you that we do not tolerate discrimination of any form and are continuously working to foster an environment where everyone feels valued and recognised for their contributions. We encourage all our team members to raise any concerns and we provide various platforms (People Team members, surveys, anonymous complaint forms etc.) where our employees can share feedback in a protected way. We appreciate your feedback on the lack of recognition and promotion opportunities. We want to assure you that our goal is to create a fair and merit-based system that rewards hard work and commitment, regardless of background. To align with this goal, we have launched various initiatives in the past few months to provide training and pathways to promotion for SDRs that have resulted in numerous successful internal promotions and we will keep building on this as we grow. Promotions undergo a structured interview and decision process and thorough independent review from our People Team to ensure equal opportunity is given to all members of the team. Your feedback is crucial in our ongoing efforts to improve, and we genuinely appreciate your contribution. If you would like to share more details, please feel free to contact me directly as I would welcome a discussion to gain deeper understanding on your experience. -John Reid-Dodick, Chief People Officer
