Pros

Room to grow if you can stomach the mismanagement. Opportunities for experience and new skills on construction sites. This will lend to your resume, if nothing else.

Cons

This company is invested in making money; not in its employees or its integrity. The owner's plan is to collect checks from the golf course (paraphrasing a quote from upper management), so there is no real incentive to invest in employees or to deliver a product/service that goes above and beyond the client's expectations. Management will assign additional duties and scheduling, but balk at additional pay or incentives. The company has ambitions to compete with large industry-standard competitor (MedCor) with no real organization or original ingenuity to do so. Company revenues have grown faster than their resources and personnel leaving the employees to bare the brunt of its downfalls with little guidance or support from upper management. What little middle management there is are just figureheads with no true authority or abilities from micromanaging upper management. Maybe 10-20 years from now this will be a decent company, but for now it's nothing more than a wayward stop to pick up some new experience for trauma junkies who want to babysit construction sites.

This employee was terminated for watching pornography on his work computer during working hours. Prior to that, he had no complaints about us. Our company has zero tolerance for that behavior. That is all.

Pros

This is definitely not for everyone. If you want to sit around doing nothing, waiting for a call this is not the place for you. We become integrated with our clients' teams on the construction sites I work on, become part of the overall safety solution. There is a high degree of professionalism required that many EMTs just can't rise to. There's not much tolerance for slackers, I've seen a few get terminated quite quickly. They expect you to be self motivated and capable of operating with limited supervision. The construction sites and media sets are a great change from riding a rig and offer exposure to the industrial safety and media environments. I've worked on both and have always been paid as agreed or sooner. Once I went full time, full benefits kicked in. I'm pretty sure the negative reviews here are from bad apples that got fired for not cutting it. The one guy on here from Iowa got fired for watching pornography on the company computer during working hours.

Cons

No room for slackers or unprofessional behavior. They expect more than a regular ambulance company. Sometimes the hours can get long unexpectedly due to construction delays.

Pros

A great place to work, where the management trusts their employees and their skills to take care of the on site employees. No micro-managing. Decent pay. Constantly growing company. Steady schedule.

Cons

No raises, little to no room for advancement. Poor benefits. Difficult to get time off, with few people to fill in.

We are constantly seeking outstanding team members for advancement from within. If you feel that you are an exceptional team member that we should be looking to for promotion, please let your manager know that you're interested. We are growing at an incredible pace and there is plenty of room for advancement for solid performers.
