      Good benefits, great co-workers....

      Cons

      Company has demonstrated instability in a market dominated by Medtronic Insulin pumps. Upper level management decided to terminate over 60 nurses used to troubleshoot the pump and manage customers experiencing high blood sugars. Nurses were replaced by laypeople with no medical background. Unfortunately Animas had built a reputation upon having nurses working the Help Desk.

      Pros

      Ability to work for a company with a mission of helping individuals that have diabetes.

      Cons

      Animas has significant potential. However with legacy "leadership" at the helm of years of disastrous poor planning and zero ability to execute, Animas is doomed to be a J&J divestiture. Animas has zero professional development and promotional opportunities due to stagnant and incompetent "leaders" that have zero ability to advance in their own careers, thus staying in their positions until they hope to retire.
