Pros

Easy to get hired. It seemed like they were desperate to hire. The turnover rate was very high.

Cons

Very shady company. I was hired as a mental health rehabilitation worker and I felt like I was not prepared for the job at all. The first days I was working I did not have any proper training. The management takes forever to get a hold of and there is literally no chain of command. Also there was an identity breech within their system recently, many people had sensitive information stolen. That along with the poor pay and management is what caused me to leave

Pros

This is a great place to gain experience working in the mental health field. Pretty easy to get hired and gain access to the severely mentally ill population. Looks good on resume/CV.

Cons

This is not a company to work for long-term. That being said, I managed to work here for nine years, part of that time as a mental health rehab worker and part as a clinician. It was no picnic though, and I stayed as long as I did mostly for the experience and because a lot of that time I only worked PT while going to grad school. The staff are overworked and underpaid. They are given too many job responsibilities and expected to work 8 hours straight with no defined breaks. You are thrown into the position with no training and told you will "learn as you go." The compensation for the amount of work you do in both the MHRW and clinician positions is ridiculous; way below average! I was only getting paid about $50K/year as a LICENSED psychologist. Not worth the headache of having to work over 40 hours/week and dealing with such a difficult population (crisis residential, adult).
