Pros
It's a lean business - there's plenty of opportunity to make change (and get recognition for it), as well as improve things that could potentially be outside your role in a much bigger company. You're empowered to do stuff better. The people are awesome, worked with some of the most passionate (and competent!) people here.
Cons
There's an expectation to help/support one another, which might not be for some people but it's great when you need help.

Pros
Answer have been great at trusting me to dive in to both internal and client projects and to take on as much as you feel comfortable with. They have been really welcoming and suppportive and I have felt empowered to develop my skills through both training and project experience. The Employee Ownership Trust model is also very positive and provides some additional employee engagement.
Cons
There really aren't many Cons to working at Answer! Maybe the mandated 3 days of holiday used over christmas/new year is a little inflexible and eats into holiday allowances when I would not choose to do so.

Pros
Being employee owned you really do feel part of the business and dare I say a proper work family here. I love collaborating with my colleagues and I feel that I am part of something bigger here. Loved my journey so far implementing the TA function from scratch, every day I am learning something new when implementing new processes.
Cons
Took me a while to get used to Google Docs, etc. Not really a con but I am struggling........
