One of the best R&D teams I ever worked with

Pros

Management trusts the R&D team with design and architecture. Every single person on the R&D team is a senior engineer (aka "rockstars"). Everyone does their best to achieve a goal, rather than avoid responsibility and try to save face. Lots of creative freedom. Flexible hours. No red tape. No pointless meetings. Fully stocked fridge.

Cons

Office location could be better, there aren't many good places to eat around here.
