Pros
Artlogic is a great company to work for, and that the experience I gained there has been a huge benefit to me throughout my career since. If you like building awesome products, and want to work in a very interesting B2B space (the art world is very fun and different from most other industries), then you should apply to work here.
I joined as a junior developer, fresh out of university, and learned an enormous amount in my time there, both about software engineering as well as the art business. I feel I was given a lot of room to develop my skills on the job, to take on additional responsibility, as well as to grow and learn from my mistakes. In addition to all of that, it's a company that makes really interesting software for a really interesting industry, leads in its field, and has a lot of fun and talented people working there.
Throughout my time there I felt that management cared genuinely about the team and looked out for us, and were very supportive.
I'd also add that if you want the fun and ambition of a smaller company or startup, but the stability of an established company with a solid client base that has decades of a great track record, then Artlogic is also a great fit. It's a place where you can solve interesting and fun technology challenges and build meaningful products used by people all over the world.
Cons
As a fast growing company in an industry that has busier periods at certain times of the year, we were sometimes much busier than at other times. That said, management was always engaged in making sure that the workload was manageable, and we were never in long periods of crunch time.
