I have been working at Aruba Networks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There are many pros:
    - Dynamic environment
    - Friendly team that are excited to be here and make the company a success
    - new building with advanced technology for navigation and conference room management
    - no shortage of fun and rewarding activities
    - part of HPE, which has to be the most forward thinking and benevolent company I have ever had the pleasure of working for. Socially conscious, driven by innovation, respects employees, gives back to the community.

    Cons

Due to natural turn over since the HPE acquisition there has been a lot of change to both personnel, systems, and processes that need to be smoothed out. On the flip side, lots of opportunity to make a difference.

    Advice to Management

    Keep driving for excellence!

I worked at Aruba Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

if you think that wireless is the center of the universe, this is place for you. if you understand that wireless is just part of the picture, aruba may not be for you.

if you think that all LANs should be L2 everywhere
if you think that SDWAN should (in essence) be L2 extension across your WAN

then Aruba is likely a good fit for you.

there are some really smart and good people in Aruba. Know that anything outside of ClearPass and Wireless takes a back seat.

    Cons

    terrible expectations of management;
    culture is toxic
    expectation is 60+ hour weeks
    manager yells at staff regularly
    micromanagement

I worked at Aruba Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No reason to join this company.

    Cons

Poor management and team culture. Aruba takes pride by intimidating new hires and making them feel inferior. Good old boys club. They illegally monitor and track sales people on their personal cell phones violating privacy laws.
