Pros

Good 9 day fortnight work pattern. Works well.

Cons

Senior management are poor. No acknowledgement of anyone other than other managers. Did not feel valued. A poor appraisal system which you can be either above average or below average. No average or working to the expected standard therefore a system that makes you feel demoralised. Pay lip service to their policy on bullying and harassment.

A political quagmire infested with ineptitude and a lack of decision makers

Pros

Some really good people with true passion for their fields, unfortunately even the best and most motivated were worn down by in fighting and an impossible customer unhappy to have to hand over a traditional MoD function to a private sector profit making firm.

Cons

Way too much politics and an inexperienced HR department, bullying is endemic.

Pros

Colleagues are great! They really work hard for the company despite most of the time the effort is not acknowledged. Good holidays and health insurance.

Cons

Not a nice place to work! The Company is a political quagmire! Most of the decision were taken by people who had no aviation or military background at all! There is a big turn around because very few employees last longer than a couple of years and so there is no continuity in the job the funny thing is that because the RAF personnel rotate every two years. In my opinion there will be shortcomings in the future of the program. Wages are poor for the kind of specialized people who actually have to do the job. Very few opportunities to move forward in the Company, they prefer to hire a brand new person who knows nothing about the business than to progress their own employees
