Pros

Colleagues are nice and help eachother (mostly) Recently added benefits like health, dental plans

Cons

Terrible, small mind, old fashioned executive management. Don't pay enough, annual review are inexistent (over 3y and not a single review for me) or nearly nothing ( colleagues getting 2% or less) Upper management doesn't communicate with team Not able to replace the staff that have left ( they should ask themselves why?) People are expected to work for free (it's in your contract) They reduced on call allowance They say loads of things on communication emails and forums, but practically no changes are seen It's managed by an investor group, they don't trully care about people, all they care is the return money. If you hand your notice they will just care even less than before. No point for TLs/managers doing year reviews as the grade they give to their peers will probably be changed by the upper management because they can't really have high ratings as it impacts your annual bonus. Process exist but they will just escalate everything and not really follow it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. It's disappointing to see your feedback as that's certainly not the culture or workplace experience we've worked hard to create. I can see you've left the business now, and I hope you shared these issues as part of your exit interview and survey, as they will have been picked up and addressed by my team. I wish you luck in your future endeavours. Ali Monsey, Chief People Officer

Pros

- Fast-paced, challenging and improvisational environment

Cons

- Non-existent process, workload is too demanding across the company to develop any - Progression promised constantly but not followed up on - Workload far too high with constant urgent requests, exacerbated by lack of process and proper training - Higher ups claim to be progressive and considerate of time off, breaks & mental health, but the actuality is anything but!

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We value all our colleagues, and I really care about giving everyone the opportunity to develop with us. It’s why we have invested in our Learning Academy and have many development programmes and opportunities in place to make sure all our colleagues are getting what they need. Supporting our colleagues, especially during difficult times, is important to me, which is why we have introduced our Wellness4Life programme. It is disappointing to learn that you do not feel you were properly supported. I can see you have moved on, but I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further, please get in touch, my email is alison.monsey@atlantagroup.co.uk. In the meantime I wish you all the best for the future. Ali, Chief People Officer, Atlanta Group

Pros

The only pro about here is the work from home aspect but even that is hard to like due to micro management and horrible senior managment !

Cons

Pay is the lowest in the range of other insurance company's I was on 10 k lower than the minimum start elsewhere! The recognition is non exsistant and the moral is low a lot of staff leaving and bringing new people who can't do the job in and leaving the long service agents to pick up the overflow of everything and carry the new starters . You have to learn on the job and only from getting warnings for things they didn't train you on. There is no empathy in persons situations everything is by the book, the book doesn't take into consideration life and persona factors. It's very clicky. The briefs on communication changes in relation to the job are delivered after you struggle to find it out for yourself while dealing with customers. The place is a joke , worse insurance company I ever worked for
