Pros
Smart team - truly incredibly smart, nimble team. Especially product and engineering. Incredibly hard workers who understand that hard work doesn’t mean butts in seats for X hours but working smarter. Good work life balance - management truly cares about our lives outside work and encourages us to nurture it. Some with formal programs like Air Mask Days and some informal ways like birthdays and other life event recognitions. Serious efforts made to promote people who deserve it and recognize their talents. Hope this trend continues.
Cons
As a remote employee I do feel a little disconnected at times, it can be hard to get a real pulse on how other teams are doing/feeling/growing/what challenges they’re facing. Some members of the old guard have made it feel unwelcoming at times in regards to sharing information or inclusion, this is at an individual level not a company level.
