Horrible place to work

Pros

Despite all of the negatives and there is alot of negatives, you're working with some amazingly cool personalities in the Melbourne office

Cons

Horrible leadership in the Digital Audio and Sales team. The entire company is directionless following the failed merger with SCA. Work-life balance was virtually non-existent, with senior leadership micromanaging everything. Pay your people more, stop working them like dogs, and try to change things from the top down instead of paying K&J a 100 million dollars and then telling everyone in an all-hands meeting that there are no promotions or pay raises... And in that same all-hands meeting, having Jackie-O come on and think that we care about asking her questions when there's a cost-of-living crisis, and your workers are living paycheck to paycheck.

Horrible Culture

Pros

Nothing. i just stuck around for the brand and the fact its one of only 4 major networks

Cons

- Only 2% pay rise for staff since COVID despite inflation and other wages shooting up, and additional costs associated with the new office location are not compensated at all. - Redundancies every 2-4 weeks. - Office attendance mandate - HORRIBLE & Cutthroat Culture - no one talks - Depsite there being so many ARN brands, you must bow to Kyle & Jackie O as if they were the supreme overlords. - No parking - No pets in the office - Not allowed to network or speak to anyone other than your line manager - Extreme amounts of workplace bullying - Get contacted at all hours of the night & weekends by your manager - Not interested at all in developing the career of their staff, and when you work on this yourself, you get reprimanded and need to 'focus on only your current position'. - No workplace benefit - Just a mess, every single manager feels like they're so extremely unorganised - Very low diversity. They're pushing all this diversity talk with some made up awards, but it is the whitest office I've ever worked in
