Pros

Remote work and somewhat flexible schedules. Decent benefits: health insurance, a 4% 401k match, and life insurance. No cold calling. Leads and clients are provided to you, and the company allows you to get creative when it comes to building your book of business.

Cons

(Note that "leadership" is referring to the company president, ceo, and other owners, not general management) There is very little PTO, you only get 10 days a year until you've worked at the company to 5+ years. There is no legitimate HR. So, any major issues within the company or employee complaints are swept under the rug. The company cannot seem to keep an HR department because of the amount of unethical conversations and business management that happen on the back end with leadership. While many employees demonstrate hard work, it's disheartening to observe that genuine recognition seems contingent on playing favorably with leadership. The inconsistent approach to addressing employee performance issues is concerning. I've witnessed individuals being fired for not meeting unrealistic sales standards, while others displaying problematic behaviors such as chronic absenteeism and disrespect towards colleagues and customers seem to go unchecked. This selective attention and dismissal of serious issues contribute to a sense of unfairness and dissatisfaction among the staff. Though success in the sales department is possible, it often involves selling products that don't live up to promises. The marketing team relies on a bait-and-switch sales approach, evident in cheesy, overly salesy videos and questionable tactics. The company's main platforms are outdated, causing constant tech issues for both employees and customers. While the company is eager to promote hardworking individuals, the high turnover in management positions is a red flag. Constant changes in team management contribute to a lack of stability and hinder professional growth. Team leads, managers, and employees who have been promoted often complain of unfair work load with very little compensation. Numerous complaints have been ignored by the CEO, leading to a loss of faith in the company's willingness to change. Originally, it was believed by most employees that due to the CEO's health struggles he was just unaware of some of the problematic things happening, but it is now clear that he is aware and in full support. Discussions about salaries are discouraged. This is always a bad sign at any company, you should feel confident in what you are getting paid and be able to discuss this with others, especially on the same team as you are on. Many employees work for the company for years, never receiving a raise. It appears that those who do receive salary increases have often resorted to threatening departure, raising questions about the fairness of the recognition process. Most importantly, this company creates an uncomfortable atmosphere, especially for female employees. There is a concerning pattern of misogyny within the company's leadership, marked by inappropriate comments that have created such discomfort that even some male employees have chosen to leave the company. Males are also paid much more than females. While the company projects an image of being a work family, the reality is toxic, and the professed appreciation is more of a facade than genuine support. The the absence of exit interviews and the failure to collect feedback upon employees' departure is a significant concern. Despite witnessing numerous valuable team members leave, there is a disturbing trend of dismissing departing employees as unreliable or dramatic, resulting in a failure to acknowledge their crucial insights. The departure of long-term employees often occurs without any formal acknowledgment, leaving the company unaware of the valuable experiences and perspectives lost in the process.

Pros

You can work from home.

Cons

The president exhibits a toxic leadership style, often indulging in drama and micromanagement while engaging in gossip about other employees. Opportunities for career advancement are limited, and compensation is low. The software frequently experiences issues, with a tendency to prioritize new product releases over resolving existing problems. The company shows promise, but a change in leadership is essential. Other managers are friendly and diligent but appear burdened and underappreciated. The owner, although seemingly amicable, maintains minimal involvement.

Pros

Remote position- can work from anywhere.

Cons

It's extremely disappointing to see where this company was, to where it is today. What once was a culture driven company, has turned into one with low morals and values. The company has lost all their good employees due to ethical reasons, and has now turned to outsourcing teammates to cut corners and save money. Pay is low, and pressure is extremely high from upper management to achieve unrealistic goals. Fear tactics are instilled on the team to produce rather than building each other up. The product being sold is out dated, has many technical issues, and overall disappoints and underperforms expectations. Talking to disappointed and regretful customers is a consistent part of day to day activities. Benefits fall short of providing a good work/life balance. Poor insurance options, low PTO, minimal team building or social activities.
