Bullying culture & high staff turn over

Pros

Opportunity to gain valuable relationships with service users.

Cons

High staff turn over. Disconnection between senior/support workers and management above. Bullying culture in management. Heavy working hours. No real drive to better service users lives which staff try and do and shut down from management. No real support from management, hardly ever in the service.

Pros

Enjoyed working with service users and meeting people. I am really struggling to think of anything positive to say about this company.

Cons

Just about everything. Poor pay, minimum wage only. Staff training is virtually non-existent and consists largely of watching DVDs. There are no fringe benefits, they won't even provide you with a free meal while doing a 24 hour shift. No breaks provided either. Bullying is endemic within AI. Standard of care provided borders on neglect.
