      Pros

      Positive environment with an approachable board of directors. Hard work is rewarded and opportunities for training and development are really good. Avire is a global company but it is small enough that you aren't just a number in an enormous organisation. Great colleagues in a social and positive work place. Good level of autonomy given to individuals.

      I can't think of anything, I enjoy coming into work!

      Solid company, engineers are allowed to engineer

      Pros

      Overall had a really good experience. Lots of genuinely smart and decent people and not a lot of politics. You get a lot of ownership over what you do and your input is actually listened to as an engineer and you feel respect for your technical knowledge. The projects were interesting and had real world impact and I always felt like the work I was doing mattered. Leadership was supportive and easy to talk to and there was a good balance between getting stuff done and not burning out.

      Cons

      A lot of turnover in other teams and leadership but engineering stayed stable.

      The company gives good opportunities to graduate students and helps them start their careers.

      Cons

      -Need for clearer career progression paths. -No flexibility with working hours, the job requires being on‑site at all times, which makes maintaining a healthy work–life balance very difficult. - Lack of communication across teams and management.
