Pros

Many employees in customer service are able to work remotely. Reasonable food prices and delivery to areas over most of the U.S. where customers have little access to healthy food. The company mission and goals are worthy, but company falls far short of reaching them, at least as far as company culture goes.

Cons

No benefits offered when I worked there but currently offer so-so healthcare that employee pays quite a bit to get. No other benefits except 15% discount on food. Most office employees are obese and smoke...at a health food distributor!! Lots of gossip and backbiting and discontent in the office. Low pay for largely unskilled and somewhat illiterate employees (including family members who run the company). High turnover. Several key players (some who have been there many years) have been fired or quit in the past year. Office managers, both current and previous, tend to micromanage and play favorites. Tendency to hire and promote friends of the owner's family who know nothing about the business.

Pros

Working remote from home is a plus but that’s it.

Cons

Nepotism, some workers that are family get away with anything and everything, management plays severe favorites, if you aren’t a favorite and have a voice you are basically hazed and pushed out. Don’t expect one day off from work unless you document your injury. Abusive management. Company has no idea what they are doing and changes procedures and systems constantly without barely any training. Very unethical practices like knowingly sending out spoiled and sub par items intentionally. Does not care or support employees or customers. Basically if you have no brain and don’t care about being heard you will do great, if you have a brain and speak up you will be miserable. Hard work is not rewarded. There is no way to be helped if you have an issue because Hr basically doesn’t exist. You have 5 days off a year and that includes vacation, sick time and let’s hope you don’t have any kids.

Pros

Work Hard for the public to grow organic food. Promotes clean living through food.

Cons

Azure Standard owners took one of my company's trailers back in April 16' and are using it without my company's permission. Azure Standard is using my refrigerated trailers to deliver groceries but refuses to reimburse my company for Azure's unauthorized use of my company trailer. We chose to call our business Azure Standard, to signify with the name what we are attempting to do. Azure is a shade of blue which has been associated with law, justice, and honesty. They do not practice what they preach-
