      Diversity Training Good teams Some good management

      Cons

      Lots of red tape Different sectors (Land/Air/Ships) have different salaries for the same role, Land is lower as theyre not as big as other depts Often end up doing multiple roles without reflection in compensation Slow to make changes or improvements

      Pros

      - Good pay, and varied work. The work-life balance at 'satellite sites' is very good. - Not afraid to put they're hands up to mistakes and try something different.

      Cons

      Be sure to check where your main site of working is in comparison to where your team is located - else prepare for travelling/being distant to your team. Plus be wary about how much discipline engineering you'll be doing (as opposed to systems/project engineering), discipline engineering is only really done at main BAE sites - this may not apply to ALL business units. So take with a pinch of salt. For graduates - do not let the recruitment people hide behind 'security,' when it comes to asking about what you'll be doing. They most likely do not know themselves...
