Pros

• Fantastic/playful people to work with • Management empowers employees • Transparent communication • A flexible environment • Everyone respecting each other • Nice perks, countless company goodies (shirts, jacket, umbrella, notepad, gloves, and lots more) • Friday beer o'clock, games, fun events, kick-ass parties • The company is growing fast

Cons

I can't complain for the environment. BMC Networks is one of the best companies I've ever worked for. Thank you BMC!

Pros

Birthday Benefits, Extended Health care, Good company culture

Cons

Wages, Hated when CEO used the "in line with market standards" as we lost good staff members for being too cheap. Hard to progress really unless you are first line support

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience working at BMC. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time here! The wages piece is tricky - true, we need to pay competitive salaries, but we're not trying to complete with the Amazons, Googles, and Microsofts of the world. One way of viewing wages is that they are one piece of the "value" pie we offer our people. Some of the others are recognition and appreciation, continuous learning, and a fun and inclusive culture. Thank you for giving us something to think about - attracting and retaining talent is important!

Pros

Brian and his team are in this MSP business for over 20 years. The service process has been refined over the years into a consistent service offering, especially to the legal community. There's no one else in the MSP market offers the same level of remote and onsite service in town. As an employee, there is an overwhelming amount of swags available. Come Christmas time the number of treats available for consumption will make you want to skip your lunch.

Cons

It is also true that it is stressful to work in the legal environment. The labour force is changing, and some flexibility should be introduced. For example, millennial workers might find it hard to believe that there is no option to work from home.

Thank you for taking the time to describe your experience with us! We are currently changing how we view "work from home", and direct managers now approve it on an ad-hoc basis for team members who need it. As well, thank you for the advice regarding diverging our main focus to something other than legal - that is actually something we are discussing.
