Pros

If you’re salary, these are Pros. If not, this wouldn’t apply to you. Flexibility working remote when needed, unlimited PTO (no cash value if you leave, only a pro if you use it), free company attire.

Cons

BNBuilders owns a company, Grizzly Rentals. This is review is for Grizzly: 1. There’s a lot of co-dependency. Before something gets done (if at all), people just go up to anyone and everyone to excessively explain something before it gets done. 2. Management doesn’t actually ‘manage’. The tasks that should be done by management/leadership usually gets brushed off to non-management employees. 3. Very little training, if at all, available for new hires and then you get thrown—sink or swim. 4. If you’re not a manager, you are held accountable for failures/short-falls. 5. Excessive meetings that pretty sound like sermons. 6. It’s expected for you to do way more above and beyond for no extra pay. If you go above and beyond, it’ll be expected. 7. Since I’ve been here (a little over two years), no one has even been promoted—always external hires that YOU would likely be training. 8. Leadership and management (most, not all), are business illiterate. You’re constantly repeating yourself since they don’t hear/listen to what you’re saying. 9. If you set a boundary or stand your ground, just know your days are numbered. 10. Lack of support when trying to improve a process. 11. Lots of turnover. If you’re reading this, stay away from their customer service team. Half the team is gone since the department is grossly unorganized. 12. The heads of that organization don’t understand a lot when it comes to systems, so expect a lot of blank stares. 13. No one (except for one guy, he’s a guru) knows how to use Excel. The files you work with are extremely outdated and poorly formatted. Again, leadership/management (most, not all), don’t have savvy skills to run the business. 14. Inventory is a joke, pretty much anyone can grab from the shelf and take it home.

Pros

Working remotely. Freedom to try out and implement new software. Great manager - only real plus side to working there. Untracked vacation.

Cons

No career growth: Company does not value their VDC team and treats them like an after thought or insurance policy to fix mistakes that would’ve clearly been avoided by prioritizing a VDC team. Lacking good leadership: operates like a frat and if they don’t like you personally they will not promote you or give you credit for your hard work. Terrible decision making due to work place politics. Made me a verbal offer, when I received paperwork to sign it was $10k less than the agreed upon amount. I had already quit my job and was halfway across the country and had no choice but to accept. Lesson: Get everything in writing. Untracked vacation: working while on vacation. Hostile work environment with certain PXs
